The short version

This site doesn't use cookies, analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. I don't collect personal information when you browse it. The only personal information I receive is what you choose to send me, for example by email.

When you browse this site

  • No cookies or trackers. There are no analytics tools, ad networks, social media widgets, or tracking pixels on any page.
  • No third-party resources. All fonts, styles, scripts, and images are served from this site. Your browser doesn't contact any other company to display a page.
  • Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. It never leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Hosting

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like most web hosts, GitHub may record technical information about requests, such as your IP address and browser type, to operate and secure its service. I don't have access to those logs. GitHub's handling of this data is described in the GitHub General Privacy Statement.

When you contact me

If you email me or reach out on LinkedIn, I receive your name, your contact details, and whatever you include in your message. I use this only to reply to you and, if we decide to work together, to carry out that work. I don't sell, rent, or share it with anyone else, and I don't add you to a mailing list.

I keep correspondence only as long as it's useful for our conversation or business relationship, or as long as required for legal and tax purposes.

Booking a call

The "Book a call" and "Schedule an intro call" links open my appointment page on Google Calendar. The details you enter there, such as your name and email address, are collected by Google so the meeting can be scheduled, and are handled under Google's Privacy Policy. I receive the booking details to prepare for and hold our call.

This site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn, GitHub, and vendor documentation. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies.

Consulting clients

Information shared during a consulting, advisory, coaching, or fractional engagement, including access to your systems or data, is handled under the confidentiality terms of our written agreement, not this policy.

Your choices

You can ask me what information I hold about you from our correspondence, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email richard@rkkoranteng.com and I'll respond promptly.

Changes to this policy

If I change how this site handles information, for example by adding analytics or a newsletter, I'll update this page and the "last updated" date above before the change takes effect.
